GWSSA (Grand Water & Sewer Service Agency) is a fun, fast-paced utility provider serving the greater Grand County area. We’re looking for a Utility Operator who enjoys outdoor, hands-on work, operating equipment, and being part of a close-knit, community-focused team.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain a variety of utility equipment: backhoes, mini-excavator, hydro-excavator, sewer jetter etc.

Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on water and sewer systems

Read meters, respond to service calls, and assist with system upgrades and installations

Troubleshoot utility issues and provide responsive field service

Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and terrain
Qualifications:
-
Valid driver’s license required
-
CDL with tanker endorsement preferred (or willingness to obtain)
-
Possess or be willing to obtain Utah Water and Sewer System Operator Certifications, Level II or greater

Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors
-
Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
-
Dependable, safety-oriented, and able to work well independently or with a team

Previous utility or construction experience is a plus
