GWSSA  workshop  subjects:

1.       Funding mechanisms for county wide water and sewer projects, engineering, legal, staff time.

a.       Water/ sewer UMTRA site/ aches NP

b.       Cresent Junction DOE pipeline     water/sewer for airport area, Thompson, industrial development at Crescent Junction

c.       Options – County economic development funds, tax levy?

2.       5 Year Water and Sewer Improvements in Spanish Valley to keep up with growth.

3.       Operations Facility large enough to accommodate storage, staff, and future needs

a.       Solar to offset costs of power usage (wells and office).

4.       Secondary Irrigation water storage additions

a.       More RSI Customers/Most economic line upgrades with most customers

b.       Add valley fill source for irrigation / lease / own / for RSI customers

5.       Request to State Engineer for reduction of water allocation volume for new well applications. Or set drill depth and aquifer use restrictions.

6.       Valley-wide water conservation efforts.

7.    Items board wants to present at SE Utah watershed meetings.
